Do you play a Brass Instrument?.........OK, so ours are all Silver but you know what we mean!

It's great fun to play in a band and be part of a "bigger sound"
Whether you are just a beginner or have been playing for years we have parts that you can play, and they are all important........... what better way to get loads of experience.

Free Lessons
The Band is commited to "bringing on" new players so you always get loads of help and great advice.............Lessons for free - can't be bad!!!

Free Use of Instruments
Oh and don't be put off by the fact that you don't have an instrument............we loan instruments for use with the band and for practising at home ...... and it doesn't cost you anything!!

Free Uniform
Uniform is provided..........and again it's free!!!

So what is stopping you .......... all you have to do is turn up and enjoy!!!

The band was started in 1892 and is going from strength to strength. We now have 25 members, 9 of whom are under 18. We meet twice a week at The Bandroom for practice and regularly get to play at all sorts of local functions.

If you are interested in joining or would like a bit more information, please phone:
