Evening At the Count House Cafe, Geevor
9th May 2003
Geevor cafe
was the venue for an evening to celebrate the achievements of local
people who have gained qualifications in a range of subjects. NETwork
training & the project office got together and organised a 'Bit
of a Do'. Out of those who had been invited 30 people attended and
enjoyed a relaxed evening. David Williams had provided a meal with
a Cornish flavour which was delicious!
Over 60 people have used the IT facilities provided by the project
office and many of those have registered with NETwork and gained
qualifications.
Rebecca Tilbury the principal environmental health officer at Penwith
District Council presented the Health and Safety certificates and
Joan Hooper the project development manager for Network Training
presented Julia Hulme and Jenny Thomas with their information technology
certificates.
