a free service to adults wanting to improve their reading, writing or maths skills


Making a new start?

We offer free, friendly help to:

  • build your confidence.
  • brush up speaking, reading and witing English, maths.
  • Learn basic computer skills.
  • Prepare for study or employment.

Adults come to Link into Learning for all sorts of reasons.

  • "I came to improve my reading."
  • "I've always been bad at spelling."
  • "I wanted to help my children with their homework."
  • "I din't have much confidence, but I built it up and passed an exam."
  • "I was looking for a better job and needed to improve my English."
  • "I needed to get back into studying before I went to colleg."
  • "I needed to brush up my maths so I could check my bills better."
  • "I left school with no qualifications, so this was my chance to start."
  • "I came to learn to speak and write English because I come from another country."

You have your own programme of work. You work at your own pace in a friendly atmosphere.

Tutors will help you when you need it.

We can help you if you are dyslexic or if English is your second language.

You can work towards qualifications in English, Maths and basic IT.
