The West Cornwall Community Network

All about the Network

The West Cornwall Community Network (WCCN) is the collective name given to the Voluntary and community networks, (i.e. Penwith Inter-Link, Kerrier Inter-Link, Penwith Healthy Living Initiative) currently operating in the Penwith and Kerrier districts. The networks provide a chance for groups to talk about their common issues, exchange information and communicate with other agencies, groups, projects and organisations
Members of the network gain regular access to information on services, projects and funding possibilities in their area, and receive support and training from the community Empowerment Fund. Most importantly, they can be part of a group of organisations which have real influence over the provision of services for their communities
Members of WCCN meet as a whole twice a year at conferences and bi-monthly at Inter-Link meetings to share information and promote the interests of communities and the voluntary/community sectors. Representatives of the WCCN sit on the West Cornwall Local Strategic Partnership and play a vital role in developing local services with partners from statutory agencies and the business sector.

Penwith Inter-Link

Inter-Link is a network of organisations and individuals working together to improve the lives of the people in Penwith and Kerrier.
