O U R W A Y

Our Way is a voluntary non-professional organisation operating in the county of Cornwall for the Transgender community, giving support and advice to anyone, who is either a Cross-Dresser, Transvestite or Transsexual or anybody who may be a partner or friend of someone above.

It is run and organised by Michelle and Donna, who between them have some thirty years experience of being out as Transvestites and Cross-Dressers. Both have had experience in the arranging and running of groups for the past fourteen years, firstly in Plymouth and then, together, for the last seven years here in Cornwall.

Small social groups are organised at three discreet and non-commercial locations, (two are within the West Cornwall area), on a monthly basis. This enables any person who is a, or a potential Transvestite, Transsexual or a Cross-Dresser, or who may be having difficulties in coming to terms with this side of their sexuality. To meet with like minded persons, in a dressed situation to discuss their problems and for a few hours to be their true selves.

Initial contact is normally via the phone. One to one meetings at a mutually agreeable location can be arranged, if the individual is of a nervous disposition and has not got the courage to meet first in a group situation.

Referrals to nation-wide self-help organisations can be made as required.

For further information call Donna or Michelle on 01209 215887.

Or E-mail:- ourway@doubledd.fsnet.co.uk

The Telephone helpline is supported by The Neighbourhood Renewal Community Chest
