Who are we:
We are a local organisation set up to provide a service in Cornwall.
We run a family support group for families, carers and friends of substance misusers.
We can provide:
We can provide a safe place to off load - sharing your problems often makes life easier.
We can give information on other services and how they work.
We offer individual appointments to those who wish to know more about this service.
This service is free and confidential.
Who is this service for:
This service is for carers, parents, siblings, wider family members and friends who have concerns about someone they care about who is involved in substance misuse.
During the course of the group session personal information is often disclosed. It is essential that group members feel they are able to share their experiences freely. The content of the group meetings should not be repeated outside the meetings.
Family Support Groups are held Every Thursday 7.30pm - 9.00pm, YMCA Alverton Road, Penzance.
