They are there to support people access training and education and
there are a number of ways they can help.
Penwith Credit Union
Do you know what a Credit Union is? Penwith Credit Union will be at
Unit 7B Penbeagle Industrial Estate on Friday Mornings between 10.30am
and 12pm. Many people who use them say it's a great way to keep money
locally and an alternative way of borrowing money. The loans are lower
because they are non-profit making. Would you be interested in helping
to run a Credit Union? Come along and find out more for yourself.
FREE Compuer Course for Absolute Beginners
Would you like to learn how to use a computer? This course is for
absolute beginners; age is no barrier - over 55s welcome. Starting
Thursday 6 May (9.30am - 11.30am) for 10 weeks. FREE CRECHE available.

St Ives Infants School
From Thursday 6 May form 1.15pm to 3.15pm, and thereafter every other
week, we will be offering free activity sessions in the Jubilee Room,
starting with Aromatherapy, come along and make your own lotions and
potions to take away, everyone welcome, no need to book.
The St Ives Reminiscence Project
Will shortly, be offering a variety of free courses on ceramics, stained
glass, creative writing and desk top publishing. Help with childcare

With Alva Davey from St Ives Technology College - no artistic ability
or computer skills needed! Here's your chance to use the latest cutting
edge computer aided design that your children and grand children use.
All materials and tuition are provided free of charge. You'll be amazed
at what you can achieve!
